Op 25 mei zal ik spreken op Blockchain Innovation Week in Den Haag. Samen met Marc Buma presenteer ik “Cryp to Mars, to build a crib on Mars”. Tijdens de sessie denken we met de aanwezigen na over mogelijkheden om een wallet Mars te sturen om zo een crowdfunding mogelijk te maken voor een toekomstige bemande missie naar onze buurplaneet. Er zijn nog kaarten beschikbaar.
“What if we send a wallet into outer space piggybacked on a rover bound for Mars. Outside our atmosphere the wallet will initiate itself and send us, earthlings, the public address and keeps the private key a secret. After landing on Mars the rover will be the target for the interplanetary treasure hunt for the private key. The coins on this wallet will fund the manned mission that captures the private key.”
